Russell Westbrook is a Los Angeles native who played college basketball at UCLA.
The 2017 MVP spent the past three seasons with the Lakers and Clippers.
On Monday, Westbrook gave back to his community in a meaningful way.

After the event, Westbrook posted to Instagram, which garnered more than 78,000 likes in two hours.
He captioned the post, “LEGACY!”

Westbrook signed with the Denver Nuggets during the offseason.
He is in his 17th season and has played for the Oklahoma City Thunder, Houston Rockets and Washington Wizards in addition to the Clippers and Lakers.
