The Sacramento Kings have arguably one of the best duos in the NBA in De'Aaron Fox and Domantas Sabonis, the All-Star guard and center duo that has elevated the Kings into the realm of relevance and contention.
Many fans are debating which of the two is the front-runner and which star is the other's super sidekick.
Ben Robach of Yahoo! Sports ranked the No. 1 contenders for each NBA team and made the case for Fox as the main contender in Sacramento.
Fox was ranked 20th on Rohrbach's list, behind Indiana Pacers guard Tyrese Haliburton and Orlando Magic forward Paolo Banchero.
While many fans will have Sabonis at the top of Sacramento's list, Fox's ability to be dependable in key situations should prove him the rightful king of this list. However, one area of contention on this list is Fox's placement.
Fox averaged 26.6 points, 5.6 assists and a league-high 2.0 steals per game last season, establishing himself as one of the league's best two-way point guards.

Two seasons removed from winning the NBA's first Clutch Player of the Year award and also earning an All-Star and All-NBA Third Team selection, Fox is arguably the top guard in the league, and his improved three-point shooting and defensive skills make him an ideal first-choice for Sacramento, but he still has a lot to prove before he can surpass the players higher up the rankings.
The next step for Fox to prove himself in this league is to lead the Kings to a deep postseason berth, similar to what Tyrese Haliburton did with the Pacers last season.
