Trade-offs. From product size and weight to materials and features, trade-offs are nearly impossible to avoid.
The second feature is 7mesh's clever StashSystem pocket, which is built-in storage for the jacket itself, and what I particularly like is the pair of streamlined clips that allow you to secure the jacket to your top tube when not in use.
But every once in a while, something comes along that outdoes the system and gives you everything you want without making any sacrifices.
The latest example? The new Mission Jacket from premium Canadian cycling apparel brand 7mesh, which weighs just 6.5 ounces yet packs a great feature set. (This is a men's medium; the women's medium weighs just under 6.2 ounces.)

So what's so special about this new jacket? It's made from a DWR-treated, PFAS-free recycled polyester knit fabric and features a two-way zipper, side hem cinch, taped seams, stretch cuffs and a reflective back panel for the right blend of climate control, comfort, aerodynamics and safety.
While these features alone are impressive enough, what really sets this jacket apart from the rest are a few other features that are unique to this lightweight jacket.
