GRUP MEDIAPRO produced the FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup, which took place in Colombia until September 22. The Group's curriculum in the production of live sporting events is truly extensive, with a large presence in the Americas, meaning it was the ideal partner to produce all 52 matches of the tournament.
GRUP MEDIAPRO deployed its technical and human resources, with a team of over 150 broadcast professionals, to produce and broadcast 150 hours of live football television signals from multiple stadiums in the cities of Bogotá, Medellín and Cali. The Group put in place all the necessary technical infrastructure to meet FIFA's quality standards and, for this purpose, deployed 4 external broadcast units, 40 cameras (including 8 robotic cameras), 12 EVS replay servers, 4 satellite transmission systems and 12 commentary seats.
FIFA once again relied on GRUP MEDIAPRO's expertise and extensive curriculum in the production of major sporting events. It has also participated in the production of the FIFA U-20 World Cup Argentina 2023 and the FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup Costa Rica 2022, with more than 20,000 productions per year proving the Group's track record. Operating in the Americas for more than 25 years, the Group has 14 offices on the continent and deploys a large broadcasting presence to provide production services throughout the region. In the Americas, GRUP MEDIAPRO manages the production of the top football leagues in Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Honduras, Mexico and Peru, and has been the host broadcaster of major multi-sport events, including the Pan American and Parapan American Games in Santiago de Chile (2023) and Lima (2019).
